Between the lightning, tornados and flooding my precious took a hit recently. The HDD on my Alienware got it from a surge I'm guessing. Analysis running off Ubuntu from a USB stick show everything else is working alright, no apparent damage. So I'll have to just get a new HDD and hope for the best. Luckily I have assloads of backups.
